I chose this picture because I liked the wide panorama of the distant scenery and the architectural elements of the foreground. I loved the distance beckoning from the horizon and the enclosure wrapping you in a veil of coolness from the desert heat.

The picture was taken at a park/zoo that featured plants and animals that were native to Arizona. The picture is loaded at full resolution. It was not reduced to web size. If you click on it, you will be able to see more detail.

Art challenge

An Art Challenge can help you reach further in your artistic journey. It can help you step out of a painting or life doldrum.

From the time that we are children, we strive to color perfectly. Admiring anyone who can color inside the lines! This art challenge is about learning new techniques, loosening the perfection tie, and learning to color outside the lines.

You might want to use this art challenge or one of the ones I have listed under the tab, Art Opportunites, as an opportunity to experiment with a new technique or as an incentive to share the moment of your painting joy with others. I would love to see what you have created.

I am learning daily, I may change a few things as I go, adjusting as I learn..... the website, my everyday life, the expressions of paint on canvas, etc...etc...etc...

I will also post my art challenge work from other art challenges where I participate.

If you like to color, experiment artistically in a new direction, design a collage card, carve the design, make a quilt, stain glass, there are so many ways to be creative.

Paint it via watercolor, pastel, oil, acrylic, drawing, oil pastel. As you can see there are so many options. Use the reference photo to share your creative ability.
